Time's Running Out! Nominate the 2017 Fleet Manager of the Year

February 28, 2017

Don't miss out on the opportunity to recognize fleet managers who have gone above and beyond this year. The last day to submit a nomination is Monday, March 6.

The annual award, sponsored by General Motors, recognizes an individual fleet professional for excellence in fleet management. Anyone is welcome to nominate a public sector fleet manager. Self-nominations are also accepted.

Qualified nominees will be asked to complete an essay questionnaire for judges and a group of public sector fleet managers from around the country judges the award.

Candidates are judged on the following criteria: business plan, technology implementation, productivity, policies, preventive maintenance program, utilization management, replacement program, customer service, fuel management, and safety.

The winner will be announced at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX), which takes place June 12-15 in San Antonio, Texas. The winner and finalists will be featured in Government Fleet magazine.

The nomination form can be found here. To learn about our other awards, including the concurrent Leading Fleets award, visit the Government Fleet awards page.
