Culver City Hiring Fleet Technicians, Assistant

The City of Culver City, Calif., is hiring a fleet assistant and technicians to join its Transportation Department. It is accepting applications for the following job classifications: fleet services assistant, fleet services technician, and senior fleet services technician.

The fleet services assistant should have some experience in the servicing and repair of motorized equipment.

Minimum qualifications for the fleet services technician position include a high school education and two years of apprenticeship level mechanic experience or completion of an accredited technical school in the mechanical field.

Minimum qualifications for the senior fleet services technician position include high school graduation or equivalent and three years of journey-level mechanic experience.

Applicants with experience in alternative fuels are desired.
