MicroGreen Names Camilla Denison CEO and Darren Phillips VP of Sales
VALHALLA, NY – Both executives previously worked at Champion Laboratories, one of the world’s largest suppliers of automotive filters, filtration products, and related devices.
VALHALLA, NY – SOMS Technologies LLC, the manufacturer of themicroGreen Extended Performance Oil Filter, announced the addition of Camilla Denison as CEO and Darren Phillips as vice president of sales.
Both executives previously worked at Champion Laboratories, one of the world’s largest suppliers of automotive filters, filtration products and related devices. Denison is the former President of Champion Laboratories and has more than 26 years of experience working with automotive companies. Prior to Champion Laboratories, Denison was CEO of Alemite, an automotive and industrial equipment manufacturer of lubrication accessories. She also has held management roles at Textron, Ford and ITT Automotive.
“The opportunity to join a company reinventing the automotive industry through a simple part that does not have to be retrofitted for today’s vehicles is truly exciting,” said Denison. “As fleet managers recognize the practical and economic benefits of extended performance filters, namely a significant reduction in total cost of maintenance, demand for this product will quickly increase.”
Phillips previously served as Director of Sales for Champion Laboratories. At Champion, Phillips was responsible for all sales and marketing initiatives in the retail and installed market business channels. In that position, he successfully introduced a category management approach to the installed markets while modernizing the retail support model.
Phillips began his career in the automotive filtration industry managing engineering and design validation activity for Champion Laboratories as the on-site engineering liaison for both Ford Motor Company and General Motors. He was the founder and president of Phillips Automotive Group, where he and his staff provided engineering, quality and sales support for original equipment suppliers, as well as their supply base.
