The Bexar County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office unveiled two new drones, doubling its drone fleet. Sheriff Javier Salazar said the technology will help save lives and keep officers safe, News4SanAntonio reported.

The new drones have thermal imaging and cameras can zoom to 30 times. The entire drone program, including equipment, licensing, and pilot training, costs $73,500, taken from asset forfeiture funds.
