Floyd County (Va.) will test a leasing program that includes patrol vehicles in an effort to reduce fleet maintenance costs and vehicle breakdowns, SWVA Today reported.

The county will initially lease five vehicles from Enterprise, and they will be replaced every 80,000 miles. The Sheriff’s oldest units have odometer readings of 150,000 to 200,000 miles.
