In today's environment, law enforcement officers need more protection than ever before. It's especially crucial to ensure they are protected in their patrol vehicles, where they spend much of their time.

Protecting Officers in their Patrol Vehicles

At the 2024 Police Fleet Conference at GFX, Robert Martinez, consultant and retired deputy commissioner of support services for the New York City Police Department, will share about the importance of implementing ballistic technology on police cruisers in a Shop Talk right on the floor of the GFX Exhibit Hall.

Martinez will share why the NYPD added ballistic tech to its vehicles and command posts. He'll also give attendees a look at the different types of materials and methods available to armor your vehicles to protect your officers.
