Junction City Brings Public Works & Fleet Maintenance Back In-House

JUNCTION CITY, KS - After nine years of outsourcing Public Works functions, the City of Junction City, Kan., transferred Public Works duties, including fleet maintenance, back in-house. The City still owns most of its Public Works fleet and has entered into a lease-purchase agreement for the rest of the equipment.

Bergen County Cuts Fleet by 123 Vehicles

HACKENSACK, NJ - County Executive Kathleen A. Donovan said the County has auctioned 123 take-home vehicles and reduced its fleet’s fuel use by 22,000 gallons, which saved approximately $66,000.
