Lordstown will list on NASDAQ through a merger with DiamondPeak Holdings Corp. The EV maker has received more than 27,000 pre-orders for its Endurance electric pickup, primarily from commercial fleet customers.
Reminiscent of the classic Americana commercial spots the Detroit 3 have used for its pickups, the Lordstown Motors video shows the electric Endurance pickup performing work duties “in the wild.”
While the Endurance launch event offered more big-picture proclamations than actual truck specs, Lordstown CEO Steve Burns pointed out one reason why an all-electric pickup will be so tantalizing for fleets.
