BMW is shifting production of its 3 Series entry luxury sedan to a new plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, starting in 2019, BMW has announced.
The 340i brings the new B58 engine, a TwinPower turbocharged 3.0L inline-6 that makes 320 hp and 330 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is also found in the 2016 BMW 740i.
The 2015 BMW 320i xDrive is an all-wheel-drive compact sport sedan powered by a fuel-efficient, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It has a NHTSA 5-Star safety rating and an array of active and passive safety features.

BMW has added to its diesel legacy with the 328d's 2.0L, four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo Diesel engine — a first for the U.S. market — which produces 180 hp and 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,750 rpm. When mated to the 8-speed automatic transmission, the combination achieves a 7-second 0-60 mph lapse time.

Avis Rent a Car Southern Africa has introduced a new range of vehicles to its fleet with the addition of the Mercedes-Benz E250 CDI sedan and E250 convertible, and the Ford ST3.
The most noticeable changes for the 3 Series are under the shell, where the 328i’s I-6 has been replaced by a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder.
