Supply chain constraints make it difficult to get replacement vehicles leading to extended cycling of those currently in service. This is pushing the envelope of warranty coverage that is exacerbated by a shortage of replacement parts.

Okay, I’ll admit it. I suffer from range anxiety; however, I found an antidote after driving the 2016 Chevrolet Volt. I spent four days driving the Volt in a variety of road conditions, primarily in the all-electric mode, and found that it met all my driving needs. When trips exceeded the battery capacity, the gasoline engine range extender kicked in seamlessly, which gave me another 350-plus miles of travel.

Hino expanded vocational applications for its lineup of medium-duty Class 4-7 trucks. In addition, it will introduce Class 4 & Class 5 hybrid cab-over models in MY-2012. Hino increased its Class 6 market share to 15 percent, up from 5 percent in 2005.
