Honda Names Fuel Cell Vehicle

Honda Motor Co. plans to initially sell its hydrogen-powered 2017 Clarity Fuel Cell sedan in Japan to government agencies and businesses with plans to offer the vehicle to retail customers at a later date. However, the automaker isn't expected to follow that strategy in the U.S.

GM's 2015 Chevrolet Volt

The 2015 Volt provides 40 miles of electric range and an EPA-rated 380 miles of total range.

The first-generation Chevrolet Volt (2011-2015 model years) will soon give way to a new generation of the plug-in electric hybrid that's expected to increase the nameplate's electric range to 53 miles from 40 miles.
