Hall County (Ga.) Sheriff Gerald Couch is proposing having a dealership refurbish patrol vehicles, which would cost about half the price of replacement, according to the Gainesville Times. The news source reports that the Sheriff, who has heard refurbishment success stories from other agencies, will present the initiative to the Board of Commissioners.
