SNOQUALMIE, WA – The Western Washington Clean Cities coalition recognized the City of Snoqualmie’s fleet division for its environmental performance. The organization gave the City’s fleet a three-star rating as part of the coalition’s “Evergreen Fleets” recognition system.

According to the coalition, the City received a three-star rating for increased investment in alternative fuels and “strong” fleet management practices. The maximum rating an organization can achieve is five stars.

“The city’s certification as an Evergreen Fleet is due in large part to the commitment and hard work of our Fleet & Facilities staff led by Supervisor Don Harris and Technician Kevin Snyder,” said Mike Roy, Public Works Operations Manager. “Their expertise and dedication help to improve the quality of the environment in the Snoqualmie Valley.”

Other fleets the coalition recognized in the region include CleanScapes, Waste Management, and Quest Diagnostics.
