SANTA MONICA, CA – The City of Santa Monica has awarded a bid for the purchase and delivery of new and recycled motor oil, automatic transmission fluid, and other vehicle lubricants to Rosemead Oil Products.

The bid amount is $266,000 and the initial contract term is one year. The contract has an option to allow for two additional one-year renewals. The first year renewal has a 0% increase in price, and the second-year option would come with a 5% increase, with the total price not to exceed $811,300.

The company will provide lubricants to the City’s fleet management division and to Big Blue Bus transit. The City received four bids, according to city council meeting documents.
