TYLER, TX – The City of Tyler, Texas, Council accepted a $142,761 grant from the Texas Railroad Commission to help with the purchase of three new refuse trucks that run on natural gas, according to Tyler Paper. The total cost of the three vehicles is $917,819.

In March, the City opened a natural gas fueling station for its vehicles. The fueling station was also partially funded by grants.
