TORRANCE, CA - This is the second part of our video series where fleet management professionals attending the 2012 Government Fleet Expo and Conference in Denver offered their solutions to challenges in the fleet industry.

One of the sessions at the event involved fleet managers gathering into groups to solve specific industry challenges and then presenting solutions to that challenge to the audience attending the session. Each table’s group nominated someone to present their solution. Government Fleet magazine staff took a number of individuals nominated to present solutions aside after the session and recorded them on video.

In the second two videos, shown below, you can see fleet managers’ solutions to a number of challenges that today’s public sector fleet manager faces.

In this first video, Kelly Reagan, fleet administrator for the City of Columbus, Ohio, discussed focusing fleet-related goals and dealing with across-the-board budget cuts in the video below.

Dave Head, fleet manager for Sonoma County, Calif., discussed how to deal with issues related to dealing with hybrid vehicles, in the video below.
