TORRINGTON, CT - The City of Torrington's fleet was found to be oversized and redundant, with lightly-used vehicles overlapping between departments, according to the Register Citizen.

The findings were discussed by the City's Blue Ribbon Commission, a group of businesspeople who work in the City tasked by the mayor to find reductions in government expenses.

The Commission proposed reducing fleet vehicles and forming a motor pool, the news source reported.
