ST GEORGE, UT – For the first time in three years, the City of St. George has adopted a budget, for 2011-2012, that allows the fleet to replace a number of vehicles, according to an article in the The Spectrum. City Fleet Manager Courtney Stephens said he expects the new vehicles to cut maintenance costs by 8 percent. The City plans to purchase a new fire truck, a dump truck, and six patrol cars. The City’s budget projects a 3.5 percent increase in revenue.
