BUFFALO, MO – The City of Buffalo, Mo. restricted or changed a number of policies for for City employees. The policies include take-home vehicle usage, implementation of a mandatory seat-belt policy, and curbed cell-phone use while driving. The Buffalo Reflex reported that the City Council passed this legislation based on requests from the City workmen’s compensation group to improve safety and decrease liability. In addition, City employees will only be able to use a cell phone via a hands-free speaker or headset.
