SACRAMENTO, CA – The California Department of General Services’s Offices of Fleet and Asset Management (OFAM) posted an update on its Fleet Reduction Plan. The update currently provides a brief FAQ section, a list of forms and other resources for state fleet managers to use, and a PDF from Mercury Associates Inc. that describes an automated “Vehicle Allocation Methodology” tool. 

The site also said that OFAM plans to break down the fleet reduction process into the following phases:

  • Data collection
  • Analysis
  • Plan preparation and approval
  • Fleet asset disposal
