FORT WORTH, TX - The Texas Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians (TAEVT), together with the Oklahoma Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians (OKEVT), will host the annual Southwest EVT Conference Feb. 28-March 5 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Delivering low cost, high quality, and hard to obtain training for the professional emergency vehicle technician, according to conference organizers, a variety of courses will again be offered in 2010, including ambulance, apparatus, police vehicle, and more.

The site of this year's event is the Tarrant County College Fire Service Training Center. In an effort to help EVTs become certified, there will be a pre-conference Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification Commission (EVTCC) test session on Sunday, Feb. 28, and a post-conference EVTCC test session on Friday, March 5, following the event. More information is available at www.taevt.org or by e-mailing info@taevt.org.
