NASHVILLEFive students have each been awarded a $5,000 scholarship from Comdata Corporation for their involvement in Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee. The recipients were selected for their academic success, professional aspirations, and commitment to values espoused by both Comdata and Junior Achievement: honesty, integrity, and hard work.

The five recipients are from public schools in either Davidson or Williamson Counties: Cheyenne Flair, Hillwood Comprehensive High School; Kaylie Matson, Fred J. Page High School; Keely Morrow, Fred J. Page High School; Brian Wiese II, Ravenwood High School; and Adam Wright, Fred J. Page High School. In addition, the schools will receive a one-time award of $500 for each scholarship recipient.

"Comdata sees these scholarships as our opportunity to invest in the future," says Brett Rodewald, president of Comdata. "These five students represent the future of today's workforce and the promise of tomorrow's leaders."

"Our community is strengthened through partnerships like this one," said Trent Klingensmith, president of JA. "Comdata operates on the fundamentals that Junior Achievement teaches students every day. Through these scholarships, Comdata is opening doors to give opportunities to tomorrow's leaders."

Comdata and Junior Achievement are proud to be able to give Middle Tennessee students the opportunity to be successful in life and as members of the community.
