CHESTERFIELD, MI - Bruce Wiley, Product and Marketing manager for the Law Enforcement Program for GM Fleet & Commercial Operations, passed away on Dec. 28, 2008. He was 51.

Wiley worked for General Motors for more than 30 years and was the Product and Marketing Manager of the Law Enforcement Program for more than 14 years. He was a certified EMT, loved to hunt, and was an avid Detroit Tigers and Lions fan.

"Bruce Wiley was the perfect fit for representing GM in the law enforcement world. He was second generation GM, following in the footsteps of his father who was a 49 year employee in our Poletown plant in Detroit, and a number of members of his family are in law enforcement, including his son Brandon who is a metro Detroit cop. He will be greatly missed in both the GM and police communities," said Brian McVeigh, Fleet & Commercial Operations, general manager.
