BISBEE, AZ - The Cochise County Fleet Management Department has been awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). The Fleet Management Department is the only County Fleet in Arizona that has received this award.
The Blue Seal of Excellence Program identifies establishments with a large percentage of ASE Certified professionals. To qualify as a Fleet department, at least 75% of technicians performing diagnosis and repairs must be ASE certified.
The Cochise County Fleet Management Department employs five automotive technicians in two shops around the County. It is responsible for the maintenance, fueling, and replacement of the County’s fleet vehicles. The fleet consists of 435 vehicles traveling 5 million miles annually.
