DETROIT – An unmarked police car that had been missing for a few days was found by Detroit police, as reported by the local news. During an inventory check, the black, four-door Crown Victoria was reported missing on a Friday, but was found the following Tuesday in another Detroit Police Department lot. Police claim the vehicle was never stolen, but was just unaccounted for. Police notified the public of the missing vehicle after they were concerned of recent reports of someone posing as a police officer and pulling motorists over.
