A fire in the Town of Sodus, N.Y., destroyed a highway storage facility and more than half of the town’s fleet of snowplows, 13WHAM reported. Four of the town’s seven snowplows are damaged beyond repair, and the rest were damaged.

Multiple nearby municipalities, the county, and the state DOT have offered assistance in the form of extra plow trucks and drivers. The town also expects delivery of one new plow soon.
