The City of Scranton, Pa., will conduct an audit to see how its employees use fleet vehicles, create a policy for vehicle use, and bring back the position of fleet manager to oversee mileage records as well as other duties, PA Home Page reported.

The audit comes after a fire chief used his fleet car on a vacation out of state. Mayor Wayne Evans recently issued a policy to non-union employees barring them from driving a fleet vehicle outside of city limits but said this policy was not enough.
