The Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX) opens today in New Orleans with a packed show floor and a record-breaking number of public fleets expected to attend. The event, which runs through Thursday, takes place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

The day began at 9 a.m. local time with an orientation for first-time GFX attendees, where Government Fleet staff offered tips and tricks for a successful show experience. This was followed by the 2nd annual Block Party, held this year at Mardi Gras World, which gives attendees the chance to discover new technology, test drive vehicles, play games, and meet fellow fleet managers.

Educational sessions and the exhibit hall open on Tuesday. The full schedule is available on the GFX website, and attendees can download the conference app on both iPhone and Android smartphones.
