Big Tex Trailers, unveiled the newly redesigned 14LP Ultra Low Profile Dump Trailer. With a durable new frame design and premium feature set, the 14LP delivers lasting strength and makes loading safer, easier, and more convenient, according to the manufacturer.

“From landscaping and agricultural to roofing, construction, and remodeling, the 14LP is an outstanding new option for a wide range of customers,” said Johnathan Bradley, Vice President of Sales for Big Tex. “We’ve redesigned this popular model to be even more durable and feature-rich, providing added value and ultimate reliability.”

The tongue and center beam of the 14LP are one continuous piece of 8-inch I-beam, resulting in a lower profile and more robust design. The trailer’s ultra-low 28-inch deck height allows for more ergonomic loading of materials as well as a safer angle for loading equipment. Beneath the bed, a class-leading scissor lift — rather than the more common dual-ram system — keeps the bed and frame properly aligned and enables smoother raising/lowering with less maintenance required.

The 14LP features a heavy-duty 10-gauge dump box with a single-piece floor and reinforced square-tube steel top rail. Providing a sturdy foundation are two 7,000-pound cambered Dexter Brand axles, EZ-Lube hubs, 16-inch radial tires, and Nev-R-Adjust electric brakes.

The 14LP arrives equipment ready, with standard rear stabilizers and an optional 6.5-foot rear slide-in ramp package. For added versatility, a rear combo-gate with easy-to-use holdbacks can be opened as barn doors or used as a spreader gate. Inside the bed, four D-rings are included for securing cargo.

The trailer also features an L.E.D. lighting package, sealed modular wiring harness to protect the wiring from road debris and the elements, a 12,000-pound side-wind drop-leg tongue jack, 12V Interstate deep-cycle battery with a 110V, 5-amp onboard charger, an integrated tarp shroud and roll tarp with side J-hooks, and a new integrated side step on the marker light box.
