The City of Erie, Pa., council has accepted an anonymous donation of $100,000 for the purchase of new police motorcycles, despite two council members expressing concerns about transparency, Go Erie reported.

One councilwoman asked for research into how other cities handle large anonymous donations, and what policies are in place for accepting donations. She was the lone no vote to accept the money.

The donation will be used to purchase five police motorcycles — 2019 Harley Davidson FLHTP Electra Glide SOLO motorcycles. The total cost $105,000, according to city council documents.
