The Meyle-Original cabin filter ensures the driver and occupants are protected from dust, pollen, soot, and gases outside of the vehicle. The silver ion layer is fungicidal, and prevents the development of mold, which can cause allergic reactions.

The cabin air filter consists of four layers that clean the air before it enters the inside of the vehicle:

  1. A biofunctional layer has an antibacterial effect and prevents mold fungus formation
  2. An activated carbon layer filters harmful gases such as ozone, sulphur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides
  3. A carrier fleece layer is the basis for the previous two layers
  4. A particle filter layer filters dust, pollen, soot, and dirt from the air.
