Shawnee County, Kansas, added a fleet supervisor position for its Solid Waste Department in an effort to ease the burden of the current fleet director, who oversees the Public Works and Solid Waste Departments, reported the Topeka Capital-Journal.

The new fleet supervisor will be in charge of the department’s 55 vehicles. The existing fleet director will continue to oversee the Public Works fleet, which includes 70 vehicles.
