Geotab has added ContiPressureCheck, a tire pressure monituring system from Continental, to its Marketplace platform of software applications, the telematics provider has announced.

The system uses the sensors mounted inside a tire to capture accurate temperature and pressure data for fleet managers. ContiPressureCheck is designed to reduce tire costs, improve safety, and provider better tread life and fuel mileage. The data is captured by Geotab's GO device and transmitted via the app to the driver and fleet manager via the MyGeotab dashboard.

"Through our tire pressure monitoring system and Geotab's open-platform telematics solution, we can offer customers access to accurate and relevant data to help ensure that their fleets and tires are operating in a safe and efficient manner," said Paul Williams, Continental's executive vice president of commercial vehicle tires in the Americas.
