The newest generation of presidential limousines is expected to be deployed sometimes this summer. The limo, produced by General Motors and Cadillac-branded, was seen on test drives in late 2016. Since then little news has come out about the new model, dubbed “The Beast 2.0.”

Cadillac President John de Nysschen told Fox News that the vehicle has been passed on to the customer, and a spokeswoman for the U.S. Secret Service said the vehicles should be in operation late summer of this year.

Since taking office last year, President Trump has used “The Beast,” the presidential limo model that debuted in January 2009.
