Polaris' battery-electric GEM eL XD is a low-speed vehicle (LSV) that can be used indoors or outdoors. The vehicle offers over 1,400 pounds of payload, generous ground clearance, and improved suspension. It delivers ample cargo capacity and street-legal safety features with a smooth and stable ride.

The GEM eL XD features an aluminum chassis that passes SAE roof-crush-test standards, front-wheel disc brakes, an automotive-style suspension, and maintenance-free battery options. GEM is the first vehicle in the industry to offer a warranty-backed Li-Ion battery to dramatically improve the GEM's range by up to three times, extending the battery life cycle. It also offers a maximum speed of 25 mph.

The vehicle is more maneuverable, cost-efficient, and sustainable than a truck or van. Safety features include 3-point safety belts, LED brake lights and signals, automotive safety glass, and windshield wipers. It is also the first vehicle of its kind to offer a recessed bed option to lower loading height and maximize hauling capacity. Smart Power, a standard feature, matches the vehicle power to the task, combining an efficient electrical system and a right-sized motor with a variety of battery and charge options.

The Polaris GEM is the market leader in the electric LSV industry, with more than 50,000 vehicles sold worldwide. GEM vehicles have been driven more than 450 million miles, saving almost 20 million gallons of gasoline.
