The FM80 from Parker Hannifin's Veriflo division is an integrated fuel regulation module designed for 5- to 12-liter natural gas engines. The FM80 provides improved fuel handling performance and is designed withstand extreme variations in temperature, flow, vibration, supply pressure, and gas composition.

It features a metal piston-style regulator, coalescent filters, pressure sensors, a lock-off solenoid valve, heat exchanger and low pressure relieve valve in a single compact body. Other components are customizable and include a choice of hoses, fittings, seals, manual shut-off valves, check valves, receptacles and nozzles.

The integrated internal regulator components have fewer connections which work together to stop fuel line failures due to freezing, dampen flow-induced vibration, reduce drop at high flow and extend life cycle. The manifold design of the regulator system reduces the chance of fuel line pressure increase due to reduced volume of fuel between the solenoid valve and regulator seals.

The FM80 is designed to achieve a high nominal flow rate of 175 pounds per hour and the low-pressure operating parameter of 250 pounds per square inch. This increases the usable range of CNG vehicles by 3-5%.

The module uses thermal shielding of internal components with PTFE seals to isolate gas flow, allowing continuous operation even in extreme ambient temperatures ranging from -40 degrees to 248 degrees Fahrenheit.
