Designed for use with a variety of compact and heavy carriers weighing more than 3-1/2 tons — including skid-steer loaders, backhoe loaders, and excavators — Montabert crusher buckets process stone, concrete, and asphalt debris and other hard, inert materials. The resulting material can then be reused on-site or loaded for removal.

Unlike dedicated crushing and handling equipment, Montabert crusher buckets can be easily transported from one jobsite to another and can be used in confined spaces such as populous urban centers, the company stated.

Montabert offers seven wide-aperture crusher bucket models, ranging in size from 2,980 to 22,046 lbs. With a loaded capacity of 1/2 cubic yard, the smallest of the seven Montabert models (L-CRB 301) crushes up to 19-1/2 cubic yards of material per hour at an adjustable output size of between 1/2 inch and 2 inches. In comparison, the largest model (CRB 2301) boasts a loaded capacity of 3 cubic yards, processing up to 158 cubic yards of material per hour at an adjustable output size of between 4 and 8 inches.
