Code 3, Inc. offers a new smartphone app called vLink that allows officers to remotely control different vehicle functions. The vLink system smartphone app connects wirelessly to a device installed in the vehicle, allowing officers to remotely control their vehicle’s lights, sirens, air horn, locks, and truck from up to 300 ft. away.

While away from the car, vLink allows officers to remotely conduct operations, such as: activate the lightbar to call attention to motorists, trigger the air horn to alert oncoming EMS vehicles to the scene, energize the ArrowStick for traffic control, start or stop an in-car video (ICV), open the vehicles’ trunk to provide access to other officers, open a K-9 door, and lock or unlock the vehicle.
