The HL730-9 is the smallest, lightest, and most nimble of the 9-series, boasting a total 9.2 second cycle time. This fast cycle time will benefit operators working in many job applications including moving gravel, sand, or other materials in general construction or agricultural projects, or moving stone and pipe in utility applications.

The HL730-9 is powered by a Cummins Tier-III QSB4.5 engine, electronically controlled for optimum fuel-to-air ratio and clean, efficient combustion. Three engine modes (Power, Standard, or Econo) range from full power to reduced fuel consumption.

  • Tool Master (TM) is appropriate for jobs requiring special attachments, such as forks, log grapples or hay handlers.
  • Extend Reach (XTD) are for projects requiring a higher dump height, such as loading material into high sided dump trucks or use in feed lot applications.

Newly designed cabins include features such as advanced color monitors with 5.7-inch wide color LCD screens, mounted on adjustable swivel-mounts for reduced glare, which allow the operator to easily control the machine. Standard amenities include automatic AC/heat, heated rear-view mirrors, hands-free phone, personal storage space, and AM/FM radio/MP3 interface/USB ports.

Hyundai's Hi-mate remote management system provides operators and dealer service personnel access to vital service and diagnostic information via an online portal. The HL730-9 is equipped with long-life hydraulic filters that now have 1,000 hours service intervals, and Hyundai certified hydraulic oil can last up to 5,000 hours before changing.
