Mazda's CX-3 subcompact SUV will undergo a few modest updates for the 2019 model year, including driving dynamics upgrades that improve noise, vibration, and harshness, Mazda announced at the New York International Auto Show earlier this week.

Other improvements include a more refined SkyActive-G 2.0 gasoline engine and available full-leather interior surfaces.

Mazda also provided an update on its joint manufacturing plant with Toyota that's scheduled to go online in 2021 in Huntsville, Ala. Workers at the plant will produce cars.
