Buick's Envision compact SUV will arrive for the 2019 model year with a modest power boost, a more efficient nine-speed transmission, and lower prices, the General Motors unit has announced.
The 2019 Envision will also include a switch that allows users to turn off the automatic stop-start fuel saving feature. The average price decrease will be about $2,400 per model.
The 2.0-liter engine that powers the Envision retains its 295 horsepower and adds 35 pound-feet of torque for better acceleration. The Envision's base model is powered by a 2.5-liter that's mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
A few other new features arrive, including a better backup camera and the ability to switch between adaptive cruise control and traditional cruise that doesn't use radar sensors to monitor other vehicles.
