When Omarosa Manigault Newman, director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison, was dismissed from her position in the White House in December, little details were known of the circumstances. But according to a new report from Politico, Manigault Newman was dismissed from her position for misusing the White House’s car service.

Manigault Newman allegedly used the car service, known as CARPET, as an office pickup and drop-off service, which is strictly forbidden by the federal government.
