About 70% of fleet managers state that they manage an in-house parts room at their facility, and considering the variety of inventory kept by fleets that have both heavy equipment and light-duty vehicles, the range in value is wide.

Data from the Alternative Fuels Data Center shows that there are more than 700 government- or utility-owned compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations nationwide, significantly more than any other type of alternative fueling station except for the comparatively inexpensive electric fueling facilities.
