Daimler delivered 72 reconstructed Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans to a door-to-door transportation service in Sau Paulo, Brazil to improve transportation capabilities for the disabled in the area.

The vehicles were delivered to the city council’s transportation service, according to a release from Daimler. The interior of the vehicles are designed in part to accommodate space for the handicap whom rely on wheelchair accessibility.

Mercedes-Benz do Brazil also announced an increase in its market share in the large-van segment, according to the release. There was a 9% improvement compared to last year, growing to approximately 34%.
