Sacramento County, Calif., is hiring a Senior Storekeeper for its Fleet Services Division.

The Senior Storekeeper is tasked with leading and overseeing the ordering, receiving, storing and issuing of parts, equipment, tools, supplies, and services used in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and heavy equipment. Additional duties include store-related tasks; ensuring tasks are completed in compliance with established policies and procedures; communicating policies, procedures, and job expectations; and providing training to staff.

Applicants must have one year of full-time paid experience employed by Sacramento County has a Fleet Services Storekeeper or two years of full-time paid experience in an automotive or heavy equipment sales or service environment, with duties such as ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and inventory. Up to six months of the required experience may be substituted with completed coursework or vocational training.
