Officials from the City of Lynchburg, Va., reported no injuries after a city street maintenance truck caught fire. Lynchburg Fire Department Capt. Abbey Johnson told The News & Advance that the fire appears to have started between the cabin and the body of the truck and spread from there.

The vehicle's driver noticed the fire after disposing of the truck's waste. He pulled over to the side and sttempted to use a fire extinguisher until the firefighters arrived. Although the cause of the fire is unknown, the vehicle had electrical problems in the past.
