Mechanical problems are forcing the Horry County (S.C.) Fire Rescue to keep more than $2 million worth of new KME fire trucks off the streets, WBTW reported.

The four trucks out of service were delivered in late 2015. Technicians saw problems just weeks after delivery, and they logged almost 800 hours in a one-year period diagnosing and fixing the vehicles. The issues are covered under warranty.
