The Town of Red Bank, Tenn., will be participating in Volkswagen’s buyback program for its Police Department. The Police Department will turn in its Volkswagen diesel Passat cars, some of which are four years old, and use an additional $46,500 to buy seven new Ford Interceptor SUV police vehicles, The Chattanoogan reported.

Volkswagen is buying back vehicles as part of its diesel emissions settlement program.
