IronPlanet, an online marketplace for selling and buying used equipment and other durable assets, announced that its GovPlanet marketplace will hold its latest All-Humvee online auction sale of U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps Humvee vehicles on Nov. 15.

In addition to a selection of U.S. Army Humvees, GovPlanet is also featuring an opportunity for civilians to purchase a U.S. Marine Corps M1123 Humvee. These specialty units are demilitarized and outfitted for sports and outdoor enthusiasts.

AM General manufactured the M1123 Humvee for the U.S. Marine Corps primarily as cargo or troop transports and several have very low mileage. Known for the OPTIMIZER 6500 engine, this model produces 205 hp and 440 ft.-lbs. of torque. Other features include improved steering wheels, brakes, and bumpers as well as the capability to transport up to 4,400 lbs.

To celebrate Veterans Day, IronPlanet has again partnered with Fisher House Foundation for this All-Humvee sale. A portion of the proceeds from the online auction will be donated to Fisher House Foundation, a charity that primarily supports a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. The foundation also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses, and children of fallen and disabled veterans.

The auction features more than 400 Humvees. IronPlanet also offers Humvee buyers the opportunity to acquire a Form SF97, the U.S. government-issued certificate that proves ownership and enables vehicle buyers to procure titles in states that allow it.

The auction will take place at ironplanet.com and govplanet.com on Nov. 15 beginning at 7 a.m. Pacific.
