More than 1 million vehicles and assets are now being managed using Chevin Fleet Solutions' FleetWave software, the company has announced.

Chevin has seen an increase of about 200,000 vehicles and assets being managed using its software over the past two years. This increase also marks the most rapid period of expansion in the company's 26-year history.

"Chevin is experiencing continued success in the global fleet software market," said Ashley Sowerby, managing director. "Over the past two years, Chevin has signed a number of major new contracts in the U.S., the U.K., Europe and in Australasia that have helped power its growth. Our enterprise-level fleet management software, FleetWave, is now used as the solution of choice by fleets in 180 countries around the world."

Sowerby referenced the company's ongoing investment in product, support and training.

"During 2015, and 2016 in particular, we have focused sharply on meeting the ongoing needs of our diverse client base," he stated. "We have taken on new staff to concentrate on ensuring strong customer support and our research shows that this experience has been highly positive for our clients, with 93% saying that they would recommend us to other fleets."

The fact that there are now more than 1 million vehicles and assets being managed by FleetWave is indicative of the efforts of the Chevin team around the globe, Sowerby noted. "It is on the back of this kind of hard work that our current success has been built and I would like to thank everyone involved in reaching this great milestone," he stated.

"Looking to the future, we continue to focus on reinvestment in our products, people and processes," Sowerby said. "With this in mind, we look forward to reaching new heights in the coming months and years, and to continuing this positive trend as a leading global provider of asset management solutions."
